Early Intervention For Autism Penang

At Lumora Education, we provide early intervention for autism in Penang for children aged 3–6, combining structured communication, attention, social and independence skills practice with personalised learning and weekly parent updates. Our morning Early Intervention Programme offers two-day, three-day and Monday–Friday packages, with published monthly fees of RM480, RM720 and RM1,200 respectively.

Your child’s programme at a glance
  • Our Early Intervention Programme supports children aged 3–6, including newly diagnosed children and those with developmental or learning difficulties.
  • Learning priorities include expressing needs, joining activities, following routines and building everyday independence.
  • Sessions run from 8.30 am to 12.30 noon, with three attendance packages available.
  • Every family starts with an initial consultation and assessment before committing to a programme.
  • Weekly progress updates help you follow your child’s learning rather than relying on attendance alone.

Communication and participation come before completed worksheets

Our early intervention work focuses on what your child can practise with people and in everyday routines—not only what they can complete on paper. For a young autistic child, your priorities may be communicating a need, participating in a shared activity or becoming more comfortable with a learning routine.

At Lumora Education, communication, attention, social interaction and independence are named development areas within our programme. We use structured learning alongside hands-on experiences so these priorities have a place in your child’s learning day.

Tell us which situations are difficult at home and which activities your child enjoys. Those details make the initial conversation more useful than choosing a package by age or diagnosis alone.

Assessment, personalised practice and weekly updates connect the learning

We begin with an initial consultation and assessment, then support your child through personalised learning in a structured environment. This gives you a chance to discuss fit before enrolling and a way to follow the learning afterwards.

  1. Start with your child’s needs. During the initial consultation and assessment, your child and our teachers can get to know each other. We use this starting point to recommend a suitable programme rather than asking you to commit first.
  2. Build communication into learning. Our communication work includes expressing thoughts and needs, listening and practising conversation. Activities are tailored to your child’s learning needs rather than delivered as an identical lesson for everyone.
  3. Practise participating with others. Turn-taking, sharing, following instructions and emotional regulation are woven into our learning support. Positive reinforcement helps us encourage participation without making pressure the centre of the experience.
  4. Review learning with you. We provide weekly progress updates. Through Laith Kiddo, AI-supported tracking of app interactions also helps us understand strengths and areas needing support, informing a more personalised learning path.

Technology supports our understanding of your child’s learning; it is not presented as a diagnosis or a guaranteed developmental outcome. You can explore the digital element separately in our explanation of personalised learning through Laith Kiddo.

Morning attendance packages make the EIP budget clear

Our published Early Intervention Programme fees range from RM480 to RM1,200 per month for children aged 3–6, with the package price changing according to weekly attendance. All three options list the same morning session hours, so you can compare frequency and monthly cost together.

Package C2 days per week8.30 am–12.30 noonRM480
Package B3 days per week8.30 am–12.30 noonRM720
Package AMonday–Friday8.30 am–12.30 noonRM1,200

We allow families to begin with a lighter weekly session count and increase frequency later as their child settles in or learning goals evolve. Discuss attendance during the initial consultation rather than assuming the highest-frequency package is automatically the right starting point.

Choose foundational learning support rather than academic practice alone

Our EIP is designed for families seeking communication, participation and independence support alongside foundational learning—not simply more worksheet practice. Because these areas are explicitly included in our programme, your enquiry can focus on everyday priorities as well as academic readiness.

The comparison below concerns the support you are buying, not a claim that all tuition providers or other centres work alike.

Lumora Education brings early learning into everyday activities

At Lumora Education, we run a special needs learning centre in Bukit Gambir, Penang, supporting children with autism and other learning needs through personalised learning, hands-on activities and social interaction. For younger children, our emphasis is on opportunities to communicate, participate and build independence, with parents kept involved through regular updates.

Our roots are in personalised support: Teacher Wan began working with neurodivergent children in 2023, before the learning centre developed into Lumora Education. That background informs our focus on each child’s strengths, pace and learning needs.

Our activity records show children participating, not just finished work

Our published learning activities show the practical experiences we make space for across the centre. These records illustrate our wider hands-on approach; they are not individual EIP outcome studies or a promise that every activity is included in each child’s programme.
