Choose a programme by age and communication goals

At Lumora Education, we match communication support to what your child needs to practise—not to an ADHD diagnosis alone. Early foundational learning, individualised guidance and group conversation practice have different roles, so the starting point is an initial consultation and assessment.

ProgrammeAge rangeCommunication focusWhen to discuss this option
Early Intervention Programme3–6 yearsExpressing needs, listening, attention and early social interaction.Your younger child needs structured support with foundational participation and communication.
Lumora Support Class7–12 yearsCommunication, comprehension, basic learning and practical classroom skills.Your school-age child benefits from more individualised guidance at a comfortable pace.

Age ranges are a starting point, not a guarantee of suitability. We consider your child’s needs before recommending a programme.

Practise communication during meaningful activities

At Lumora Education, we weave communication into hands-on learning, group interaction and daily life skills. Our activities give children opportunities to use communication with other people, rather than practise only through worksheets.

Depending on the programme, we work on expressing thoughts and needs, listening, conversation, turn-taking, sharing and following instructions. Positive reinforcement supports participation without making confidence or fluent conversation a condition for joining in.

  • Early intervention: communication practice sits alongside attention, learning readiness and social interaction.
  • Personalised support: we adjust guidance to your child’s pace and the areas where they need additional help.
  • Saturday activities: basic cooking, arts and crafts, science and technology projects, sensory play and group tasks provide different opportunities to communicate and cooperate.

Saturday enrichment provides a group setting for practising communication through practical activities.

A goal to discuss with us: rather than asking only for “better communication”, you might identify asking for help, explaining a need or taking a conversational turn as your priority. These are examples for your consultation, not promised outcomes or a fixed lesson plan.

Find a suitable starting point for your child

Tell us your child’s age and one communication difficulty you notice at home or school. Ask to arrange our initial consultation and assessment so you can receive a programme recommendation before committing to a package.

Understand progress, learning support and programme fees

At Lumora Education, we provide weekly progress updates and use AI-supported tracking through Laith Kiddo to help personalise learning. These tools inform our support; they do not guarantee a particular result or a deadline for improvement.

Laith Kiddo helps us review how your child interacts with learning activities, including strengths and areas needing more support. You can also follow progress at home, making the application a complement to our hands-on and interpersonal learning—not a replacement for it.

Our Lumora Support Class is RM189 per month. Its published fee information also lists an RM200 assessment fee, an RM100 one-time registration fee and an RM150 material fee per semester; ask us to confirm the full applicable cost and session arrangements before enrolling.

For early intervention and Saturday enrichment, the fee depends on the selected attendance option. Review our linked programme information above and discuss which schedule suits your child’s needs and your family’s routine.

This page describes educational support, not medical advice or a promise of ADHD treatment. Do not assume that a learning programme includes clinical speech-language therapy; if you are seeking assessment or treatment for a communication concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional and clarify the service you need.

What you can check before enrolling

At Lumora Education, our practical reassurances are an initial consultation and assessment, personalised support and regular parent updates. We encourage you to understand the proposed programme and its costs before deciding.

  • A recommendation before commitment: our initial consultation and assessment help establish programme fit.
  • Weekly visibility: progress updates help you follow the areas your child is working on.
  • Learning beyond the centre: Laith Kiddo lets you follow your child’s digital learning progress at home.
  • A Penang location: our centre is in Bukit Gambir, welcoming nearby families and those willing to commute from elsewhere in the state.

Questions before your first consultation

No. We support children with ADHD and other learning difficulties as well as autism. Programme suitability depends on your child’s age, communication needs and the support they require.

Prepare your child’s age, school routine and a few examples of situations where communication is difficult. You can also ask whether existing school notes or professional reports would be useful, and discuss your preferred attendance schedule.

Yes. We offer flexibility to begin with a lighter weekly schedule and review frequency as your child settles in or their goals change. Discuss the available arrangements and applicable fees for your recommended programme during the consultation.

Do not assume that personalised support means an exclusively one-to-one session. Our Support Class is an option for children needing more individualised guidance; tell us the level of attention your child needs and ask us to confirm the proposed session format before enrolling.

Leave your consultation with a clearer programme choice

Share your child’s age, communication priorities and preferred schedule with us. We will use the initial consultation and assessment to recommend a suitable starting point, so you can understand the proposed support before choosing a programme.
